IA Podiatrist Ordered to Repay Medicare $242,000

An Aberdeen foot care doctor accused of filing fraudulent paperwork has been ordered to repay nearly $242,000 to Medicare. U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says podiatrist Dr. Todd Monroe falsified patients' medical records and improperly billed Medicare for surgical procedures. Monroe, in August 2010, pleaded guilty to making false statements.
