Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Perk (Joel Lang, DPM)

This one really struck a nerve with me. May I suggest that as a retired podiatrist, Dr. Lang finds the time to start an insurance company and pay for healthcare claims. He could determine the premiums, the payouts, the deductibles, co- pays and his own salary. It is possible that he would generate so much business with such a large volume of customers and followers; he could be a very generous insurance company. Even people with a serious pre-existing condition could say come on in. He will pay your bills! Just the magnitude of your number of clients would allow for a "Cadillac policy" for everybody. This would allow you to keep the premiums very low. What would your salary be Dr. Lang?

What did Pelosi say?: We need to pass it to see what's in it! Well on page 58 the law says: "The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic transfer from those accounts". Tell me you are not concerned about that line! It also states: "The bill will provide insurance to all non-US residents, even if they are here illegally". Please tell me that is fair since we are paying the TAX on it.

Also found "Cancer hospitals will ration care according to the patient's age." Just wait until they tell our retired podiatrist that we will not pay for your cataract removal, your knee and hip and replacement, and the stents for your coronary arteries due to your age.

By the way, you probably paid 6.2% Medicare tax for the past 40 years {as I have for 32 years} and you won't get the benefits, but an illegal alien can have a baby here, and it would be covered! You're right, I'm wrong.

When patients ask me about Obamacare, I tell them that if it is good enough for the citizens of this country, then the House, Senate, Justices, and the President should be required to have the same health insurance as well as their families! This is NO joke- they should be required to be part of what they enacted!
If none of this concerns you and you are okay with everything stated, then there is no reason to discuss this matter with you! Capitalists and Socialists do not mix!
